Cool VAG-COM coding (fob window control + more)

So if your doors lock when you go 15 mph, do they unlock when you slow? My dad's Ford had doors that locked when you moved the car at all, but they never unlocked automatically. I don't know how anyone would get you out of a car like that if you were unconscious after an accident.

My Canadian A6 will autolock above 15 mph, but if I unlock all doors manually after that, they will stay unlocked even if I slow down below 15 mph and accelerate beyond it. They stay unlocked until I turn off ignition and then start it again.
On my American Allroad, even if I unlock the doors manually, each time I slow down/stop and accelerate again, the doors will re-lock. I find it annoying.
What is the experience of my American brethren? Do your doors stay unlocked after you manually unlock them? Or do they re-lock?
Of course, if I put the tranny into Park, the doors will unlock.

Newer as of when??? And does the OP's coding result in the doors unlocking in the event of a wreck?
Where is the "safety" in having the doors locked automatically while you're in the car? I can understand it for driving through bad neighborhoods, but I want to be able to control it myself.
