did some maintenance recently - headlight moisture, drain plug
Recently had my headlights polished and protected with 3M film. After this, noticed my passenger headlight was getting more and more condensation, especially after rain fell.
Decided to "air it out" by removing the plastic cover on the back of the lights (not sure if that would do anything), and removing the turn signal bulb, thus exposing the headlight to some fresh air.
Left it outside during work, and when I came back, the light cleared up. Now both look like my driver's light in the pics below.
Also, a few weeks ago decided to check what's happening under the battery. To my surprise, the water was still draining with the debris there.

edit: removing the corner light was a pain without removing the air box. i was at work, so the only tools i had were my left hand and my right hand. it's fairly straightforward to access the gray plastic tab that houses the bulb, but twisting is nearly impossible since the air box prevents the squeezing of your hand necessary to hold the tab and turn it.
installing it was even harder. especially at 6:30 pm when it's dark out. thank goodness for the phone flashlight app.

Did you solve the moisture problem for good or just temporarily by 'airing it out' ? I believe the long term solution (if required) is to re-seal the entire back portion of the lens. The polishing job looks great though. .

I suspect it's not solved for good, but at the same time, some hot air got in while polishing was happening, and stayed there.
I really will hate taking the light out and resealing the lens, but that may be inevitable.
Although in my research, I found there were plenty of new car owners with a similar issue (though not to such an extent), and after airing it out, all was fine).
