engine coding

what engine code do you have

mine is 06752 isn't that for an A6 I think the allroad is - 06755 for northeast America?

same coding as my ar.. depends on engine APB Vs. BEL

I have a very early 01 6 speed(Nov 00 purchase) APB engine, ECU is first of breed 4Z7 907 551 (no alpha designation)

by my 03 it is all the way to a 551-S. IIRC, the BEL motors started somewhere around R

same ecu that i have - no alpha designation.

having had an a-box ecu in my s4, i was totally confused when i first discovered the lack of alpha designation. i wonder if the ecu was designed to be flashable to whatever alpha designation is needed. thoughts? j.

seems like a couple of you are coded to Sedan instead of Allroad, and others are 06 (TLEV) instead of 07 (LEV-more strict) yet none are in California.

My car is from CA. Now I have to go check my code and see. I was hoping to code to a lower emissions standard to avoid some of the EGT silliness...perhaps MX or SA?
