Getting display pixel's fixed
I have close to 100,000 miles on my allroad with no major problems but my pixel display has gradually started to loose lines and if you have this problem you know it gets worse in warmer weather. From my research, dealer wants around $1000 to replace. I found a place in Canada (pixelfix.info) that will repair it. They have a 10% discount now. It should cost around $200 for repair and all shipping charges. Does anyone have good instructions on removal of display? I will keep you posted on my repair I plan on sending out to them in a week.

You just need to pull the upper surround away from the top of the steering wheel and unscrew two
torx head screws under it. Then pull the assemby out and unplug the harnesses IIRC. 5 minute job. Nice find.

Well removal did not go so well. I had philips screw heads and they both stripped. I had to drill them out and will be getting new screws from the dealer. Sent display yesterday.
