Headunit Replacement

I agree...I replaced the front
speakers with a set of Dynaudio 240II's and a u-Dynamics amplifier (to fronts only). I left the stock head unit, rear door speakers and sub from the Bose system (2002). The sound is superb, as the Dyns have super accurate highs and mids, with a nice full bass response from the 7" woofers. The remaining stock components add just enough rear fill.

Hell, I'll take it! Is it big enough to fully cover the hole in the dash?
