Help!

I have two Questions:

1. I've changed the Camshaft seal, and the valve cover seal. But Oil still leaks. What else I Should look for that may cause this leak?

2. What is the Serpentine belt? is their a link to the actual product?

the belt is what powers the alternator, A/C, etc.

Serpentine Belt

<center><img src="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/pics/eng63-19.jpg"></center><p>Serpentine belt is like what old cars used as a "fan" belt. On various cars it may run the water pump, air conditioner compressor, power steering pump, power brake pump, and alternator. They use to run a couple of these and you might find more than one belt usually in the shape of a V in a pulley. Now they tend to run one wide belt and instead of in a triangle over 3 pulleys they run a strange pattern so as to run all the pumps /devices.

Any place you normally get Audi auto parts from should have them.

it may be your that the crank case ventilation system is clogged. I've only messed with the 2.8 on

this but do a search for spider valve or suction pump. It may help.

If your car is an early '01 model like mine you may have two valves instead of the

single suction pump of the later cars.

Then most likely you have the single suction pump...you can search for it here and

Carson at Riverside Audi can get you one...that will cause backpressure to build and you will blow oil all over the place if you don't fix it soon.
