Help with code 01119

About a month and a half ago I posted the issue regarding the ESP light flashing during the medium radius left turns. Since most of on/off highway ramps/clover leaves are right hand turns this problem does not happen too often driving in town, but, driving through the mountains, through some canyon roads with plenty of both right and left curves triggers the light quite a bit more often. So, I brought the car to the dealer to take a look at it. They found the code but were unable to duplicate the problem, so they just erased the code and gave me the car back. I brought it to the indy yesterday and the code is there again. So I called the dealer service department and told them I want to bring the car again and try to take one of the technicians with me for a ride in an attempt to duplicate the issue. The explanation of this code is following: Gear Recognition Signal, intermitted, signal is being transmitted between ABS module and Transmission.
Today is the last day of my CPO coverage by the way, and I really want this to be fixed on an Audi dime. If anybody had ever experienced something similar, or have any tips and hints on how to proceed in this situation, I will really appreciate your input.

you MAY beable to get it covered later, since you have the issue on record during the warranty.

Take him for a ride....

have him scan the car with you watching.
Have it written in the service record this is the second complaint.

Let them know, if they fix it today....Audi will pay for it. If it gets fixed after today, you will pay an Indy to solve it because you will not have any confidence in the dealer.

I would push to have the ABS control module, and/or the TCM replaced according to the Bentleys, text below..

Signals are transmitted between ABS control module (w/EDL) -J104- and transmission control module via CAN-Bus.

Could be a cable bug also.. Good luck.

Thanks guys, I called the service advisor and he told me it will be covered, since it's been

reported before the warranty ran out. I just need to take the mechanic for a drive and let him experience / duplicate the problem. I will follow up with a report

The dealer did take the car back for some more testing... Will see how it goes

The problem is really sporadic, so I did not take them for a test drive, I saw the ESP just explained everything again, documented everything and they said they will follow up on the status.
