Help!! Need Muffler
Someone rear ended our allroad about a month ago. The rear body panels took much of the damage, but the exhaust system was also damaged. Since then it has been at Town Motors in Englewood, NJ and they cannot get a replacement muffler any where. We have wasted our time calling Audi customer service, who seem to be incapable of doing anything. Now according to Town Motors the muffler is not stocked any where in America, which I find hard to believe(isn't the same one used on the A6?).
Anyone have any ideas? The insurance company will only pay for a loaner for a month, so time is critical.

I have a stock S4 cat back exhaust you can have but I doubt the mufflers are the same.
I know the whole exhaust is very different but perhaps the mufflers are similar. Call your Audi dealer to see if the muffler is compatible. Won't hurt to check. If so, drop me an e-mail & you can have the S4 exhaust, just pay the shipping. I can just chop the muffler & ship it to you or send the whole thing.

http://www.lltek.com/allroad.htm have a muffler for the allroad although it is different in its sound, back pressure etc.

complain to AOA from thier websight. they need to fix this sort of thing. the car is new and as you know ****e does not flow uphill. they are dumb and happy in the "ivory tower" of AOA, and may miss the fact that there are car issues or misinformation from the dealers brewing out there (can anyone say "ar trailer hitch?").
i complained to them and got a nice response to various issues (pricing on hitch installs, varrying prices from dealers on accessories, no welcome packet after 2 months). this is a powerful board and the people on it no doubt help Audi fix their problems

Did you just use the contact form on the website? The 800# for Audi has proven to be compleatly useless.
I just wish I knew if it shared the muffler with any other Audi. The dealer says its unique, but I find that hard to believe.
