The level sensor is attached to the driver side front sensor so that is the one that is bad...
you will need VAG-COM and it could be the sensor or the suspension ECU could be bad too. Does the car lose height when left standing? It could be in either the rear or the front if it is ECU. Just some thoughts.

I have not noticed any height problems.
Any danger driving for a couple weeks until I can get in for repair?
