They adjust with a philips head screw driver. Open the hood and look just behing the lights.
You will see a screw mechanism, with a white plastic hex and Phillips head. There is a another in the corner, partially recessed and hidden. These are the headlight adjustments. Use these to move the hotspots down. You can also do side to side, if necessary. Ours have a horizon in them unlike sealed beams. FInd a parking lot with a wall, that is level. Pull up to wall and mark where your bumper is, now back up about 100 ft. Move the DS side so it's more or less straight ahead, slightly right is OK left, is not. Level beam to just under you bumper mark on wall. Move PS beam to slightly above DS beam also more or less straight ahead. Once again slightly right is OK left is not. After you get the hang of it, take the screw driver, along and adjust the lights to taste, after you see what they are like on the road. Be careful not to bring them too high or too left, or you'll be blinding people again. When they are adjusted properly, you'll see into the next state, with getting flashed.
