looking to purchase

Hi, I am looking to purchase a 2002-2004 Audi allroad. I have just started my research, looking for something in the $9-12K range.

My question is in regards to how expensive is general maintanence and upkeep. Are particular years better or worse than others. What goes wrong with thtese cars? I keep seeing things about transmission "lag".

Any infor would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

Don't go into this car thinking its a Toyota in terms of repair costs.

I'd suggest go back one page and read the thread "my Allroad Tome...", read www.allroadFAQ.com. People may be slow to respond directly because you'll probably find all you need for this Q with searching the archives.
