Master key doesn't work

This happens sometimes...it's not dead, it's in a temporary coma...
the same thing happened to me and several others...
My solution was to be pis*ed-off that I had to manually turn the key for a couple days...then I just decided to try it one day and it worked. Seems like waiting a day or two and NOT pushing the button during that time resolves the problem. It seems that this happens more frequently with those who have pushed the unlock button several times from too far away and somehow this deactivates the key...or something...
It is a mystery, but others have done other things to get theirs to work...it is most likely NOT the battery...you might want to ask on the A6 forum, it has happened there a lot.

Thanks, i tried, didn't work.
BTW, in regard to programing : neither I nor dealer ( in 3 tries ! and still doesn't know what's wrong) were able to program buttons on Homelink.
Initial setting just wouldn't go as manual said it should..

Yeah...it is a mystery...but mine and several others happened just like this...
within weeks or a couple months or so of owning it...
I don't know what the cause is...but it goes away for almost everyone...it makes no sense.
