A math problem

Friends from Florida left my house at 7 am to drive back to the airport 125 miles away. At 7:17 am we found a medical device that they had left at our house that they had to have. If I am going to catch them, I have to do so before they reach the Interstate which is 52 miles away. I leave at 7:20 am. The question is, if they are driving at 60 MPH and I am driving in my allroad, how many miles will it take me to catch them and at what speed? I will give you that answer after five or so responses.

But you have a 120mph speed limiter, so why not go that fast?

I caught them at 43 miles (they had stopped on the side of the road to change drivers just before I got there) and I averaged between 85 and 90 on a Sunday morning with only 4 other cars on the road and fortunately none of them had a blue bubble gum machine on top. What a gloriously handling machine lowered down to the ground in the first level.
