Is this normal?
When I'm done driving, turned off the ignition and stepped out of the car, I hear short busts of air bleeding out of the suspension system. I don't see any noticible change in vehicle height. Is this normal? If so, why? Thanks.

Yes. It readjusts to the correct height
(for the specified level) after weight is removed - even after the car is turned off. Of course, if it needs to run the compressor to raise the suspension to get to the specified level, it won't do it until you turn the key on again, but it does release air after the car is off. I particularly notice it after unloading heavy stuff from the back when the car is off.
