The old P0431 Code - DIY fix? - Help Please
Ok I'm getting the P0431 code on my 2001 Allroad.
Warm Up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)
So, I've been doing a lot of research on these 02 Simulator spacers. I know my Cats are fine and I'm entertaining this fix.
Question 1. Which side is Bank 2? Passenger or Drivers?
Question 2. Do you install the spacer post cat or pre cat?
And one last one for ya. Looking into using this spark plug non-foulers as O2 spacers fix that I'm reading all over the internet. Seems to be working well for others. Has anybody done this fix using this DIY. Good results? Bad results?

The "spacer" can be just a spark plug non-fouler or whatever and screws into your exhaust and then your 02 sensor plugs into that.
With 02 Deleter's or whatever, there is no need to relocate the sensor.

Also, bank 1 if you have popped the hood and are looking at the car head on, bank 1 is on the left and bank 2 is on the RIGHT.

Usually, you want to install it post cat. If you install it pre cat, you will get off-the-wall readings, more codes, plus do more harm than good.
So, meaning you'd want to install it furthest away from the engine, if that makes more sense.
