Power locking switch

I have a 2004 allroad, picked it up 1-month ago and just noticed that there is no indicator light when you lock the doors from the inside. Is this normal? My previous A4 had a red light indicator on the switch when the doors were locked. Is this the same for the allroad? Thanks.

My 2003 does not have a red light indicator... I thought this was a feature on newer Audis...

My 03 has it. Right next to the lock button at the aft of the drivers door.

strange, some have it some don't??? Doesn't make sense?

Alarm??.......on at the aft of the drivers door.

My 03 has a red led beside each front door lock post. It does not light on locking but flashes on alarm set.
