Problem opening door

Problem opening door
The left rear door can't be opened from the outside. It is clearly unlocked and the child safety (which in any case should only prevent opening from the inside) is not engaged. The handle can be pulled but there is no effect or sound -- just as if the door was in fact locked. Opening from the inside is not a problem. All other doors work fine. I called service and my salesperson late Friday but haven't heard anything back from them yet. Has anyone else experienced this? Yes, I have tried locking/unlocking the doors.
