My name is Josh and I have a question for ye who read this post. I am currently in the beginning stages of planning of opening a new shop to sell and install the go-fast goodies we all love. I am at a point now where I am trying to figure out where. I am in California and if I open one up here, I will be on of many such shops. Where else do you, loyal Audi enthusiasts, think that there needs to be one. Having grown up in the midwest, I would love to open one there, but I'm not sure it could support such a venture. What are your opinions? Please, share with me your thoughts.

Well, there isn't one in Kearney, Nebraska. But then again, there aren't any Audi's either.
The best way to succeed is to find a good concentration of potential customers and then do what you say you're going to do. Then, do it in the time you said it would take.
It's that simple. Deliver and deliver on-time. The world will beat a path to your door.

Salt Lake City could use a good shop. Denver is the nearest.
There is a great Audi repair shop in town but they don't really push mods - they do more repair stuff but they do great work. There is another place and they are trying to reach out to the Audi folks since there is a growing demand. Most of the other shops are for the Japanese import crowd. I was thinking about opening a shop myself but don't have a huge automotive background and my wife won't let me quit my job. :-)
I'm not sure if there is a large enough base in just Audi but if you also did VW, you might have something.
