Setting Allroad Computer
I just got my 01 Allroad back from its 30k service. The computer display was different when I got it back, and I am not able to toggle through the different options. The only setting I can get on is one that says MPH with a jagged circle around it. An, alarm similiar to the reserve gas alarm also comes on and off. Any thoughts of how to reset this>

This is your mph warning.
On your dash is a push in reset button. 1 is for the trip/odometer the other will set the MPH buzzer. While not moving the car, push and hold the button. The Slash mark will clear and you willhave normal menue control.

Do you have the "computer" switch by the armrest?
If you do, you can turn on and off individual functions using the dial. I had the same problem w/ mine when I bought it (knew it could do more than just miles to empty b/c my wife has an A6) -- you just need to go to the "computer" settings to turn each function on or off.
Wasn't immediately obvious after RTFM, but after some tinkering you'll figure it out (if that's the problem). As K2 said, you toggle through with the wiper lever, but the armrest (in front of hand brake actually) switch is what turns it on and off. Good luck.
