Slight Vibration Above 60 MPH

We just got new 4 Kumhos mounted and balanced and an alignment done this weekend. The allroad drives MUCH better at high speeds and our major previous vibration problems are almost all gone.

The steering wheel vibrates ever so slight though, to the point that it is not 'irritating' but still noticable.

I did a search and some folks said to check the suspension next. what exactly should I be looking for? What components should I checking when the car is in the garage. Should I be checking the axles or shocks?

did you do a roadforce balance? 17s or 18s?

Sometimes you need multiple balances to get it right and often requires a roadforce balancer. A real PIA.

17s twin spoke stock wheels

The mechanic suggested to do a normal balance since the tires were new.

MUST Road Force Balance...and by someone who knows how to use it...search here

for the locator or google...it is made by Hunter. Put same tires on with RFB and no issues.

Feel the Force...It worked for me. It matches rim to tire imperfections.

It is not just about balancing but the inherent highs & lows of the wheel & tire being matched. The vibrations may be caused by other components but this is a likely cause & a small worthwhile investment. Discount Tire made the same mistake. Claimed routine balancing would be adequate. Wrong. The dealer Road Force balanced my nineteens & my ar rides like a magic carpet.....smooooth.

Okay...road force balance... but they are asking $130 for that

At the stealer? Most I have ever paid was $100.
