solid check engine light
I have a solid check engine light on my dash. Had it vag, code "low engine temp" and I'm getting a random misfire on all cylinders. The misfire is not on the same cylinder eachtime at idle. Car is fine when going. Please help my 04 ar 2.7T

Low engine temp??? Hmmmm... perhaps a bad thermostat switch??...
When that thing goes bad it seems, IIRC, it throws a bunch of stuff out of whack. It's a $15 - $20 part and takes about 15 minutes to change. Random misfires are difficult to diagnose. Obviously, if it was at one or two cyclinders, it would be a coil pack.
