Thule Rack
Anybody know why the thule website doesn't list the allroad in it's fitment guide? It lists the A6 sedan and the A4 allroad but that's it. Is it safe to assume (never safe to assume I know)that whatever racks fit the A4 allroad will work? I've searched the threads here and found that a lot of people have thule racks/bars but I didn't see much in the way of actual part numbers or model names 450r et al. The Yakima website does list the allroad and products that will fit, but since I just purchased a Thule Evolution 1600 box (cheap discontinued price)I would like to see what thule has to offer that would fit the allroad. Any help would be appreciated.

I just got the new Thule Areoblade bars for my allroad. for the fitment guide I just used the A6 avant because thats pretty much what the allroad body is. Its the 450R footpack and I got the 47 inch bars. I love them.

Thanks for responding. The picture is fine. It's a nice looking setup. There are sales at a lot of stores on the internet for Thule products right now. You've definitely given me something to consider. Thanks again.

BenzAllroad, thanks again for your reply. Just this afternoon I was able to get the Thule 450r Rapid Crossroad complete system off eBay for less than 200 bucks. It comes with four locks included. I'm looking forward to getting all the parts to see how everything fits/looks.

I also have a system on my AR but opted for the Yak LowRider towers. I went this route because I also have a Evo1600 box plus two bike trays. With that box in the middle I needed room outside my roof rails to mount the bikes. The lowrider and wide bars helped.
