Default Trunk switch problem!

5 out of 10 times that I get out of my car, my legs hits the trunk switch by the door and unlocks the trunk. Does anyone else has this problem? Any suggestions in what should I do?
Thanks
Alex

Never heard of this problem. Suggestion: be more careful getting out of the car? (sorry)

short of cutting off your leg?. what if you move your seat back before you get out?

Default right forum? I don't see how that's possible on my ar.

The trunk release switch (which I've pressed even once) is on the front of the B-pillar.

Default the switch on the B pillar? never been an issue I don't swing around that far. Also, your sig pic-

Is that the Erie (CO) airpark in the background? just curious, kind of looks like it.

Default Perhaps you have the after market toggle switch instead of the normal button....

and yes! anyone would hit this on the way out? Only way for this to happen is with the seat all the way back (you're tall) & swinging your leg into the button. This would also take a bit of skill to push your leg into the recessed button for half a second just to get this to work!

Default Re: Correct. So when I swing to get out of the car, my leg hit the switch

I do use my seat on the very extended position. I do have long legs.
