VAGCOM Help in KC?
My 2004 Allroad has lost it's suspension mind I think, I really would like to put the tester on it and see what it says before I start throwing parts at it.
I replaced the front air bags with Arnott units years ago and I see no evidence that they're failed, but the back end goes right up and the front stays down.
Anyone it the KC area that can help?

I was lucky to make the acquaintance of a somewhat local Allroad owner who drove up and helped me run a vagcom scan on my car, we didn't learn anything conclusive but between us decided my problem was with the right front suspension airbag.
Since I'd replaced them in early 2010 with Arnott bags, I called them and they sent another to me under their warranty.
I've installed it and the car now raises up properly and the pump shuts off at each step as it should - which it wasn't doing before - so I think I found the problem.
However, I have a leak where the air line goes into the fitting, does anyone know if the ferrule inside the fitting goes with the taper towards the fitting or towards the bag?
In my case you can insert the line into the fitting, but it just pulls right back out again if you tug on it - which it's not supposed to do.

I think I fixed it
I must not have had the fitting in right, cause I took it out again and threaded it back in and the line went in and stayed in. I raised the car up to all settings, the pump kicked off as each one was attained and it's stayed up so far.
The wife will be happy to get her car back again, and we all know how important that is!
