Weird question

nice ride.. Did you have an audi dealer run the VIN to get its audi service and repair history?
Make sure the seller shows you a picture of the spare tire area to insur that the air compressor for the spare is there.

This is where I went wrong.
See I am not in the US, I am from Georgia. I had a friend test drive and check the car for me and ship it.
The carfax is clean and the car is a good ride, works fine. He drove about 200 miles on it, said he was very impressed.
But i did not run the repair check (the carfax indicates it has been serviced at 2 other facilitie, and Ill get the repair results faxed to me on Monday), and this is eating me alive.
Still, it's not that big a deal, if something comes up, I can resell it here for quite a profit, but the time wasted is a factor.
Tha car was quite a steal though-13.6k

running the VIN is easy ....
just ask your local Audi person to run the history for you - I just recently did the same thing before I bought the Q7 - it was in Florida and I had never even seen it - much less drive it - so before I had it transferred to Texas I stood over the shoulder of the Audi tech and we reviewed its entire history from in-service date forward - they are usually very obliging and happy to help ... don't fret just yet!

How do I get the service history? I asked my local Audi dealer to run the VIN and check on the service records of an Ar I was considering. He told me that nothing came up so it meant that the car had not been serviced at that dealership. I asked if he could see what service had been done and he said he could only pull up the service history if it had been serviced at that dealership. Any idea how I can get service records for a 2003 Allroad?

that's just not accurate ....
any dealer can access the service history by using the VIN - they have to dig a little - but I've had three different techs help me and none of the vehicles were serviced at their location - so maybe ask another Audi dealer for help - or ask the Service Manager - shouldn't be a big deal - however, are you in Georgia as in Atlanta or Georgia as in Russia? - if you're outside the US you would most likely have to run the VIN at an Audi dealer stateside

I think your dealer is full of BS. My ar was sold & serviced by Carousel Audi. Maplewood Audi gave me every detail of its history since new,in a printout, following my first service there.

Here is how I did it(Or how i almost did it, as the dealership was already closed, and the assistant said that I should call on monday and he info is readily available.)>
If you go to my initial post, it has a link. Check the carfax (it is free for this car). The records reveal it was serviced at 2 facilities other than audi certified dealer. Google the facilities and call them.
They will be able to give you a full list of the parts changed, etc. They might tell you to give them a visit and take a look yourself, if you dont or cant do that, ask for a fax copy or a scan.
Have your VIN ready (last 6 digits).
Plus any dealer will give you the info if you just ask.
P.S. here is where the dealer gets cash. He as a buyer will know all the problems of the car, thus lowering the price for the seller. He will prolly never disclose that info if you are buying the car so you wont be able to low=ball., Do you see where I am going with this?

every audi dealer can check the national database of the car. even audi customer care can.
the in person method is best. Go tot eh dealer, say you found one to buy, and want them to inspect it but before you buy you want to know all of its history. they do it with a few keystrokes.
