what is this switch (below instrument cluster on the right)?
Don't see any results from flipping it one way or another.
I noticed too there is iPod cable in the glove compartment. When I plug my old iPod into it, flipping the switch will start charging it. Flipping the switch off will display a message on my iPod that battery is low, plug in, etc (the iPod had low battery).
Definitely this switch controls power to the iPod. Too bad it doesn't work with my iPhone, it says the connection is not suitable to power the iPhone or some such thing.
Of course, I have yet to figure out how to play music on my navigation/audio system. I tried everything - CD/SD, source, MP3, but so far nowhere could I hear or see the music from my iPod.
Anyone has any clues?
All controls are strictly on the iPod, the CD changer keeps playing, except the sound from it is cut off.

Or it might turn off the light in your garage
