wheel bearing?
I have a funny noise when turn to the right. Definitely coming from the front wheel, driver side. It is not a cv joint. It sounds like a rubbing/rattle griding noise. Like I was dragging a brake shoe, but I am not becuase it only happens when I turn to the right. By process of elimination I would think wheel bearing, but I always thougth they made a low moan/howl noise.

i've had three wheel bearings go on two seperate cars, and they both made a droaning/howling noise... basically the same sound as if you drove a 4x4 with loud mud tires.
so from that experience i would say it is not that, and usually they will make noise all the time, unless you take the weight off of them, not the other way around as you described it
and are you talking about slow turns, such as at a 4 way stop? or more when you take the weight off of that side when cornering fast?

Does it sound anything like the noise in the video below? My car makes a similar noise based on your description. It is definitely coming from the right side. It really only happens once the car is warmed up, not when it is cold. I also thought it might be a wheel bearing, so I replaced the right side bearing but it didn't help at all. I since discovered that the right side exhaust pipe is rubbing on the chassis around the area below the seats, which makes a different noise when going over bumps, but I think is also causing the noise in the video. I still have yet to fix it, but it hasn't gotten any worse in the 10k miles since it started.
