Default Wheels Differences

Question for our learned group, what is wrong with these wheels, will they fit the AR?

Can someone give me the difference between thes and say the same OE replica wheels on Discount Tire Direct or the RS6 Reps at Hartmann??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Audi-A4-A6-A8-S4-S6-S8-V8-RS4-RS6-wheels-rims-silver_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ</a

Default Looks the same as my rs6 reps from Lakeshore Wheel and Tire...

What's the offset? Chances are you will need spacers.

Default Wheels Differences? Where they are made is the answer...

Hartmanns are rputed to be the best Rep wheels, ususally Italian made. The rest are usually China with a very different and not a strong an alloy.

In all cases you get what you pay for..

Default I've considered them too but can't pull the trigger . . . .

they are just too cheap! I spoke to the seller a few weeks back and he claimed you don't need spacers for the allroad. I don't know much about wheels, but I would be surprised if they didn't require spacers. If you end up purchasing them, please give the forum a review.

Default Hartmann and Lakeshore (aka AAA) are the only ones we've tried here...

I personally wouldn't buy anything but Hartmann. They not only make a nice wheel, but know the Audi product. And their customer service is the best. And I'm not saying that because I've had 3 sets of their wheels. And their spacers too.

Several have gotten AAA/ Lakeshore wheels with pretty good success. But anyone who is selling a wheel for that cheap can't be made with high quality materials. Sorry, just my 2 cents worth.

Default Sorry, but I'd never buy from someone who thinks any wheel will fit an allroad without spacers.

If they don't know the fitments, how much can they know about the product? Sounds like a future customer service fiasco.

Default All our reps are Italian made, only the forged (USA) and Work (Japan) are not

Even the Discount tire stores prefer to order in our wheels than deal with the shoddy Chinese ones.
