Photos from a few of the above listed accessories. I ordered these from Bernardi.

The floor mats have a rubber texture to them. Fit is fairly good and they snap in to the posts. They have a strip on the side of each one that needs to be cut off before using.
The rear cargo mat has a more plastic feel and its fairly thin but should do the job. For me, it's mostly for hiking gear, ski/wet gear, and random home depot items I don't trust on the carpet. As you can see from the photos, the area above the metal tie-downs requires end-user cutting. I didn't use these tie downs in my other Audi so I'm not going to cut them out. I also wouldn't be able to do a good job cutting perfectly around the smaller metal fixture so it would expose carpet, defeating the purpose of the mat.

Now you’re just trying to make us jealous of that cargo cover :-)

It’s.... working.

You're good to go. I kinda like the rubber mats year round to protect the carpeting. They look great.

I have the Audi cargo mat in my Q7, and while it has held up for the past 5 years, i wish i had purchased the Weathertech mat. It's heavier and more "rubbery" than the Audi version. I find that most things i place on the Audi mat slide around while I'm driving, and the mat moves around in the cargo area because it's not heavy enough to keep itself in place. I didn't cut out the areas where the cargo hooks reside, so maybe that's why it moves around. At any rate, I'm going to wait until Weathertech comes out with their e-tron cargo mat and buy that one. The Audi winter floor mats are great. Similar rubber material to the Weathertech mats.

Second that!
I have one of those as well and indeed it's a bit hard.
