Gearing up for production -- All I can think of is that Audi has ordered the parts and is waiting for them to arrive. Perhaps we should prevail upon our friends in Belgium to be on the lookout for delivery trucks from Pep Boys and AutoZone.

In production – When Henry Ford introduced the moving assembly line in 1913 the time it took to build a car went from more than twelve hours to two hours and thirty minutes. I wonder why our e-trons take so many days “in production?”

Leaving factory – How many days does it take to push an e-tron off the assembly line and onto a car carrier?” I sure hope less time than it takes a software programmer to change a light bulb.

En route – For the length of time it seems to take, someone may need to reprogram Audi’s GPS.

Just having a bit of fun. Can you tell that I am getting antsy? My e-tron is gearing up for production, whatever that means.
