Default Driver Behavior Data

Effective September 14, 2018

In addition to the data collection practices described in the audiusa.com privacy statement (including the practices with respect to additional services such as myAudi and Audi connect), AoA will collect driver behavior data from Audi e-tron vehicles, such as vehicle speed, seat belt use, and information about braking habits, and use it for the purposes set forth in the audiusa.com privacy statement. These may include, as further described in the audiusa.com privacy statement: providing you with products and services, for our own internal business purposes, or for legal, safety or security reasons. We may also use or transfer the data in an anonymized or aggregated format.

However, please note that personally identifiable driver behavior data will not be used for AoA marketing purposes or shared with unaffiliated third parties to use for their own purposes without your affirmative consent.

This driver behavior data will be collected regardless of whether you sign up for or use additional services. However, your connected vehicle will be equipped with a “Privacy Mode” that allows you to control what information is collected from the vehicle, including the ability to discontinue any sharing of vehicle data. Please see the “Your Choices” section of the audiusa.com privacy statement for more information.
