Mine has been "leaving factory" for 8 weeks. Neither Audi or dealer has any clue as to where it is. Probably on a fishing boat off Norway.

Stories like this scare me. Especially when I've been in "Leaving the Factory" for almost 2 weeks and still haven't received any email. Audi hotline still says I will receive it in 5 to 8 weeks.

My car has been at the port for 5 days, about 40 miles from my dealer. I just called e-tron support and they're telling me 3-5 weeks for delivery. They are clearly using standard responses and have no details on the status of any specific car. Or if they have the details, they're not sharing. It's frustrating.

I got the same “canned” answers where my car was in production for 8weeks. I started calling dealers in a 30 mile radius and found an E1 cancellation. I picked it up the next day and cancelled my existing order for a full refund.

My dealer just said my car has been sitting in Houston port for 15 days now. Not a clue what the hold is. I'm very certain Audi is doing something with the cars. Software update?

According to my dealer, car arrived in Houston on 5/28 and the next day it was at the dealer in Austin - can't imagine what the hold on yours might be.

My first edition has an active recall, maybe yours does too. They can't release it if it does.

I bet the "recall" for the hi voltage cable water leak is responsible for my 8-wk "leaving factory" and the hold ups at the port. They have a stack of cars waiting for a fix to be developed, the parts to be made and the work to be done. I wonder if cars are being manufactured and stockpiled waiting for the fix. Looks like all of them are affected.
