I'll second that, but a jump to 40 amp is a significant improvement. If you can see frequent needs for the increased amperage I'd consider an upgrade. You'd just need to be sure you have a 50 amp line going to it.

That's 3 x 70 amps/phase for the DC charger, only, for 100 KW charging capacity. Most homes have 220v one phase, with a neutral, supply to the breaker box. Usually, the largest breaker box for a house is 200 amp. Cost is between $5K and $10K for the DC charger. If I remember correctly, Juice Box was selling a DC charger "kit" a few years ago. You could always ask your power company to set you a 480V 3 phase transformer on the pole (or pad). Shouldn't cost more than $10K.

We're going to throw a dozen Juicebox 75s at our offices and a dual DC fast charger (150kW). Should be fun. Once it's up, I'll let everyone know how fast it goes from empty to 80% in the eTron.
