Default No cargo cover?

My E1 has brackets for a cargo cover (mounted near the top of the rear seats as a shade that would pull over the cargo area to protect/hide contents) but it did not come with the car. Is it an accessory I need to purchase, or was it omitted in error?

YES, You will need to purchase it as its an option. I just went on the Audi website under My Audi and ordered it and the winter mats.

I ordered one from bernardiparts.com. P/N: 4KE-061-167-94H price was $225.40 plus shipping which was less than my dealer quoted me.

I just picked one up at the dealer for $280. Nice quality and fits like a glove.

Hate the fact that it doesn't come with one ... despite the fact that all my other ones are nicely stacked in the garage closet, barely used or not used at all.

I know right? Audi included it in my Q5ís I purchased years ago. I guess they decided to try to make a few more bucks selling it separately.

Given that I never used my cargo covers and just threw them out after a decade of them collecting dust in my garage, I passed on ordering one for my e-Tron.

Should be 20% off, as many Audi dealers offer this discount for on accessories for new car purchases.
