Starting two threads.

1. This thread is for the new e-tron Quattro SUV; If you have deposit down, have one on order, or would like to discuss ordering options, order status, and actual landed vehicle pictures. Please, NO DEBATE on the virtues of EV here, if you wish to contribute to the EV debate, please use…

2. “>>Official E-tron Debate Thread<<” for those that wish to debate topics such as: Electric Vehicles pro’s and con’s, Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), or why you won’t be buying EV’s because the tech is not mature enough, etc.

And, picking up the thread from the Q5 forum here: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/aud...-list-2958916/

I've seen some reports that the 999 x $86,000 USD "Edition One" versions have all be accounted for. So, now we are in the queue for configuring the Premium Plus and Prestige..

The pre-order site was returning 404s for 27 minutes, then I finally got in. Could have gotten the First Edition but wanted to choose my own interior & exterior colors. Added trailer hitch just because

Hoping (maybe hopelessly) that when the "lock config" date comes for my "Edition One", I will get to modify in/out color and change to the turbine wheels.

(I think someone has a wicked sense of humor at Audi - "Edition One' .... "Edison Won' ... Tesla, in your eye ... but actually Tesla & AC won)

Seems like the paint color is definitely part of the Edition One deal. (Since that color isn’t available on the regular line.)

What you're saying is precisely why I didn't order the edition one - the colors (in & out) and the wheels. Then again, for the usual $3500 you may be able to get a paint job of your own choosing; for the usual additional $4000, you may be able to get the interior color (yes maybe even material) of your own choosing; and you'll find probably someone on the board to trade the rims.

Anybody else here notice the exterior trim differences between the European version of the e-tron vs. the one shown on the AudiUSA website? The Euro model (besides the Edition One wheels and the camera side mirrors) shows black trim around the wheel wells and along the bottom side of the car. See the pics below. First, the Euro model. Then, the one from the AudiUSA website. It looks like the black trim is just deleted from the US cars. Looks sort of weird.

Note the trim around the wheel wells and the bottom of the doors.

AudiUSA website pic - note the lack of trim around wheel wells and door bottoms.
