Finally some definitive dates -

Reservation 1/28
Config locked 3/28
Gearing for production 4/3
In production 4/5
Leaving factory 4/19
En route (VIN provided) 5/18 - at this point Audi customer service said car was probably 10 to 16 weeks away.

Call from dealer yesterday - car was in Houston would probably be at dealer next week.
Call from dealer today - car was at dealer being prep'd

No notification from Audi about US arrival nor has there been a refund of the $1,000 deposit.

Anyway looks like gestation period for my e-tron (Prestige all options but tow package) was almost exactly 4 months. Unfortunately I'm traveling until Sunday night so I won't get to see the car until Monday.

jeffbtx, while I'm happy for you (really) and anyone else who has received their e-trons, it's kinda BS for those of us that:

a) ordered loaded Prestige models four+ months before you did (i chose all packages, including tow)
b) locked in configurations weeks before you

Is the tow package really the cause of a lengthy delay? Doesn't seem right.

I ordered the Prestige with everything except the tow package and it’s still on a boat. Locked in March 8th and went into Production shortly after. It sat at leaving factory for weeks before being put on a boat around the 18th May.

Dealer told me it was supposed to arrive in the US on the 6th June but it will only be in Mexico on the 6th so it’s probably going to be late June / early July before I see the car.

The whole process on Audi’s part is extremely disorganized. No mention of the $1000 refund yet either.
