Drastic temporary decrease in range
Its a 2019 e-Tron Prestige with 1k miles on it.
Thanks.
Just heard from them with the comment "Looks like our Audi case we started for your car has been updated to say they would like some extensive driving and testing processes for your car. We may have it for a little while."
The waiting game starts...

Pulled up to the local EvGO charger with 34% SoC and 55 miles. That was a little weird, because the cafe was just easy 5 miles from the charger; no traffic, no hills. At that point, total distance traveled was 108 miles. That charger only gave 18 minutes or so of charge at 45kW, and got up to 45%, so we went back on 50 and got to another EvGO charger at Strawberry. Charged for 30 minutes at 47.3kW and got to 80% SoC with GoM reading 175 miles. Heading downhill, the GoM kept fluctuating (thanks, regen!), and I rolled into the garage with 58% SoC and 158 miles of range.
Have only had the car for 7 weeks and 1400 miles. I understand the GoM is often inaccurate (after 5 Audi ICEs), but there's been a good concordance between SoC and GoM thus far during my ownership (commutes of 20-30 miles r/t). Reading through the forum, @Bohica1956 had a similar issue and was found to have a faulty battery control module. Have other folks had similar experiences, and was the final diagnosis similar? Looking forward to the group's collective insight. Thanks!
