e-tron Error Log Help?
Does anyone have knowledge of decoding a diagnostic log for a Q8 etron? I have a 2024 (since June 2023) and have had numerous problems with over 50 days in the shop out of service in the first 8 months. I have a Lemon Law claim going in front of a state-mediated arbitration panel tomorrow morning and want a summary of what the other side will present in this log. Can anyone look and provide a summary?

If they are presenting evidence in a legal proceeding its pretty standard that they are required to provide disclosure to you beforehand. Anyway if they provide an error log they are just proving YOUR case aren't they? What could it possibly say they would hurt your case?

What problem symptoms do you have? Error logs are a bit verbatim, and often contain many irrelevant red herrings. Starting with those tied to observed problems is often useful.
The log shows a lot of intermittent communication failures between various control modules in the car, e.g. on Feb 14th-15th and March 17th 2024. If the car was in the workshop these dates, it could be caused by modules being removed during debugging. If they rather happened under normal usage conditions, it points to a bad connection somewhere or software glitches (which is not that uncommon)
My main takeaway from the log is that none of the errors suggest any external influence causing the failures (thus no user induced error). Audi might also argue that this log is perfectly normal, and does not show any noteworthy issue with your car (at the time the log was collected).
