Default Electrical System Malfunction

Hi, so I am getting this electrical system malfunction error. Car drives fine, and it goes off when I turn off the car. Anyone had this before?

Go to the dealer.

What is your build date? Are you susceptible to the coolant overflow issue. If you are, you may have just inherited a new front motor.

yeh I am going to go. Hope it’s not the issue, but who knows, I did the update a few months ago to prevent this coolant problem ...:/

So my car has been at the dealer for a week now. They said it is some module... they got the part 2 days ago and said it was ‘labor intensive’ to get it back in... this type of stuff does worry me a bit. We will see what module this is once I get the car back :/

Hehe, it's a pretty big module that pushes the front wheels.

oh so basically the front motor? This is not a very good sign . I hope it’s not a recurring issue. What worries me on what happens when my warranty is up... lol

IF...we are talking the front motor here. You really do not need to worry about it once it is replaced. It sounds like you may have fallen victim to the coolant overflow issue. Rest assured, the overflow issue will be resolved before the motor is replaced.

I hope so. I got the update for the coolant issue about a month ago, but I guess the damage could have happened prior to that

So got my car back. They said the electrical malfunction was due to chasis control module... 36 miles after driving it I get a red error saying electrical malfunction stop car immediately. I stopped, turned off / on. Now get that same yellow warning again..... seems like a start of something terrible... I got this car as a CPO so not sure if lemon laws apply...
