Locking Issue
Not able to unlock my 2025 S6 Etron using either of the two key fobs even after switching the batteries out. Had the same problem yesterday, after 30 minutes it unlocked and let me drive home but then could not lock the car overnight. Then this morning it let me lock it but now cannot unlock 😡
i deleted the car from the app and then deleted the app and the fobs worked for a couple of minutes but then stopped again.
Spoke to the Audi center and they have said someone will contact me but then and this was the kicker that if there are no errors reported there is little they can do if the fobs are finicky. 🤷♂️
At this point I’d be happy to give the car back!

You might try posting on AudiWorld in the Q6 e-tron forum (and A6 e-ton forum) and on http://www.e-tronforum.com, as the cars are very similar and a few people have posted problems with lock/unlock. My Q6 has been fine for over 9 months now, but Digital Key is often an issue, if that has been set up. I never have. There's a setting in the MMI for Convenience Key (in Locking section) that will disable unlocking using just the door handles for opening unless Convenience Key is turned on.
I'd go to the dealer as soon as you can to see what they find.

I have a Q6 etron and starting having issues 2 days ago- I called audi and you pull the key out of the fob and then underneath the handle is a hole you insert the key , then like a screwdriver ( so I was explained ) the plastic cover pops off and you can insert the key and lock and unlock - I have replaced the battery and Have made an appointment with the dealer - like the car but this is annoying -as I do not use my phone to loch and unlock-but that does not either .
