Missing button in Climate Control screen?

Same problem 22 etron sportback premium plus
I live in South Florida so I programmed one button to be “AC Max”. I come back to the car later and the button says “Off”. I have reprogrammed many times and it doesn’t stick. At least I can press the voice button and say “start AC Max” and it starts. Very annoying.

Keep me posted. I had a service appointment for my Q7 a few weeks ago and was told that it is a known issue with a fix in the works. I was supposedly added to a list to be notified when it is released. Hopefully that has happened. It’s been pretty frustrating not being able to use basic car features - like radio presets - for over a year.

I have the same issue with "SYNC" button and radio favorite presets disappearing randomly. Before you turn on the car, you'll see the MMI asking you if you want to continue with the same user or switch to a different user. Select your user setting first before you turn on the car. The sync button and radio favorite presets will appear. It has worked for me every time.

Quick update - dealer was able to locate a TSB regarding the issue. Repair receipt indicated updated software was installed and everything was normal vehicle operation. Nothing was "normal" about it. The missing button was blank the next day when I started the vehicle. The whole thing was a bust. Obviously too much tech introduced without thorough testing. Just going to move on with it not working as designed.

Favorites going missing was little annoying but I can live with it, I listen to Apple Music all the time.

Repair ticket says TSB 2069112/1 and TSB 2047812 - I understand they relate to the radio presets not sticking but also for the missing button setting. Again, did not take care of the missing button favorite setting to stick after a key start/stop cycle. Good luck !
