MMI Problems

I have noticed my MMI malfunctions anytime i am near a Train/Metro station here in LA. It makes the system freak out music starts to skip then the whole screen shuts down closing any apps open. Anyone else dealt with this or anything similar?

That is really strange and I haven’t had anything like that. I have situations where the MMI didn’t load the key user but even that is rare. Have you done a forced restart of the MMI as a first step?

Phone works the entire time, Apple car play usually crashes with the MMI. I noticed it at 1 particular location but after yesterday it happened downtown passing a similar Metro station I have never passed.

are you wired or wireless for carplay? might be worth seeing if it does it wired, could be some 2.4GHz interferance like a big microwave or a large amount of metal/wires (like would be at a metro station)
