No buffer.

Summer storm crushed my efficiency. 400 miles range for 300 actual in inclement, yes please. This was taken in Rocky Mount NC at the EA. Pulled in on fumes.

Talk about range anxiety! You must have been in pucker mode

What did you or the car do to get you there, did things shut down? Did you lose motive power? Did accessories shut down? Never want to get in that same situation, but I would like to know what to expect!

Ha, turtle mode limited the etron to maybe 20% power available. However, it maintained cruise control at 65 MPH. I passed a highway on ramp where I had to slow down to let cars in. Accelerating back to highway speed took a little longer with the limited power. And then of course after jumping off the highway and having to negotiate lights acceleration was limited.

Everything else seemed normal. Radio on, AC running. But it was not like the Tesla Bjorn videos I have watched with a Volvo cruising on the side of the highway trying to make 10 MPH.

Oh and the instrument cluster gets very red.

I'd like to not go below 3%, however, I think a combo of the summer storm and bad aerodynamics with the sunroof opened to vent, my efficiency just was not where it normally is.

Of course, 0% to you is 8% to the car, since you cannot access the last 8% of charge. My understanding is that things will start to shut down to conserve electrons as you get near zero. Finally, the car will stop, but then let you do a few short crawls to let you get out of harms way.
