Default Parking Sensor

After I recently had my car updated with the 57H3 Service Campaign, I am having issues the the curb sensors. The recall was to address over sensitive sensors that would beep when the wheels were over a foot away. After the service update, the side sensors do not work at all. The front and rears are OK, but NOT the side sensors. I am trying to find out if others are experiencing a similar situation. If so, Audi may need to recalibrate the software again to get tase working. Seed my pics below. The seniors did not sound an alert when I was this close to curb. This could cause a lot of wheel RASH!

It's been mentioned a few times in other threads that this seems to be the case. I am taking my e-tron in for the 57H3 campaign and I'll definitely be working closely with the service advisor to confirm curb detection before *and* after the maintenance is performed.

Fix one bug, introduce 10 new ones... So they aren't actually doing any QC on their code apparently. They must be working those poor Indian or Chinese programmers to the bone.

I would like to hear your results after the update. I am waiting to see if others are impacted as well before I bring car back as it will need corporate to reprogramming to resolve.

I just got my e-tron back from the dealer after the 57H3 fixes and the curb sensor seems fine. It's less sensitive (before it would alert when there was simply an "edge" to the pavement, not even a curb; now it just alerts on the curb).

However, the lane departure system and ACC lane-keeping seems to no longer work. Tapping the button on the end of the turn signal stalk does not enable/disable the lane-keep icon on the dash anymore (there's no icon).

Edit: scratch that, it's working fine. Not sure why it didn't come on when I drove back from the dealership, but it's working now.

I found this thread about sensors. My 2019 e-tron do not have the side sensors (shown in red below). I do have the front and rear (Shown in green). I kind of understand these are giving you warning against the side curb distance. Do you know what option these sensors are associated with ? I don't have the 3D cameras option on my car. Is this the reason the side sensors are not present ? For those of you who have it, is it practical or still have issues with its functionality ?

I’m curious about this as well, I was under the impression, the 2019 model at least, didn’t have curb sensors, which was a bummer to me as I park downtown quite a bit and am prone to curb rash (already had an incident with my etron ).

But the first post is clearly a first edition model, which I have. Is the curb sensor a setting I’m missing some where in there?

What am I missing in this thread here? I have a 2019 E Tron 55 and my car has both the red and green circled sensors.

On my 2019 e-tron, the red sensors are not present. I am trying to find out the functionalities I am loosing and if it is a big miss... I thought I would have all the sensors...

I have those sensors as well, but never have noticed any kind of curb warning.
