Default Q4 E-Tron

I think this looks great, Audi's first ground up BEV, on a BEV platform. What do you guys think?

The design looks pretty sharp. Really curious what the exterior dimensions are going to be, and whether it’s a viable option for me instead of the current e-Tron.

Disappointed with the 0-62 mph of 6.3 seconds. They should've matched the i-pace at the very least. Let's see what Tesla brings to the table on March 14.

I'll transfer my e-Tron deposit to this as soon as I can. Overcomes my reservations about the e-Tron being an adaptation of an ICE platform and therefore a transition car. I want the SUV platform, so I prefer it to the GT. Should have the GT's charging capability, so there is no reason to hold off. I suspect there will be VW stablemates, but this will have the full Audi Luxo treatment. I also suspect that this is the platform for the all-electric Porsche Macan that has been announced--it will be interesting to see the two styling approaches, a la GT v. Taycan. I prefer the GT's styling to the Taycan. I expect we'll see the Macan's prototype soon--Frankfurt?

Perhaps it is my age, but I am always puzzled by the emphasis on acceleration that often is the focus of posts on this forum. Unless we expect to take the vehicle to the track, why does it matter? Perhaps I am an exception, but my interest is on design, fit and finish, build quality, comfort, electronics and the like, all of which I expect to be top-notch in the e-tron SUV. No matter the speed or acceleration, I hope you enjoy your new e-tron.

Tesla will bring a lot of promises, but we all know how well they execute, and they have no manufacturing capacity for batteries or Model Y as the current GF1 cannot even keep up with Model 3, and powerwall production. Teals owes 10K+ power walls to referral winners, but they are years behind in delivering them.

Likewise, I am not even 50 yet, who cares about 0-60. I want comfort, quality, features, range, and charging speed.

My thoughts exactly. Thinking lease the E-Tron now and maybe buy this one down the road when our kids are out of car seats. I think the proportions look very similar to I-Pace, but Q4 is taller, and maybe a bit narrower. Hope they price it starting around $50K with the 280 mile range.

Yeah, it might be an age thing. It's always nice to have more power on tap. Audi does make an excellent car with luxury and tech options. Hopefully, there is an SQ4/RSQ4 e-tron option in the future.

Not a huge fan of the grill extending under the headlights.
