Software and map updates?
I just got a used 2019 e-tron and I am trying to figure out the currently installed version of the MMI navigation maps and the overall software, as well as how to get the latest versions. The former is clearly out of date and I am hoping it can be updated OTA (do I need to trigger this somehow?). I want to update the latter to make sure I get the additional mileage update for the 2019 models. Any tips on how to go about getting this update?
Thanks for the help!

Updates are just that--UPDATES. If the map info in the car has been corrupted generally the update will not work. You have to take the car to the Dealer for them to load a full uncorrupted version of maps.

The other strange thing you cannot do is speed the process up by having the car use your home Wi-Fi. It is going to use the cars modem no matter what you do and it will take a while.

Liars, cannot trust them at all. So my recommendation is if they do not agree to give you Connect PRIME for free, just pay that $36 and do not waste your time. It is good to have latest maps since you want all new roads and possibly shortest distances to drive while getting directions.
