Classic... What power steering fluid to use? Read On Please!

Raisin Bran and sliced banana. Not bitchy at all. I was actually complementing Grasshopper for using
Search and noting that you sometimes have to be persistent, "keep trying combinations..".
If that is deemed bitchy, too freakin bad.

See, that was better. (Carl H. (Turbo_Anarchy) found it, I just streamlined the link). Now if...
you just realize that you can edit the subject line to create a short answer or the start of long answer, we will get along just fine.
Sorry about the "Grasshopper". Wasn't meant to offend. Just a name for a newbie (to the forum) learning the ropes.

You must forgive the folks around here
Consider the UrSs have been around for a loooonnnnggggg time (mines 16) and a lot of "newbie" questions that come on here have been rehashed for over a decade.
Not to mention people come and go but there is a core group here that have been here for years with a lot of great knowledge that will share you just need to be patient and not be wound to tight as they/we can be a test bunch.. Kind of like our cars.
FYI most use 11s due to how much longer it lets our power steering system live and considering it's up wards of a grand to do a rack and PS pump plus lines I don't mind spending the extra cash!

I am impressed.
Oh, wait - no I'm not.
I signed up for Jet's A4 forum a long time ago. That turned into AW after some time, but in the meantime, I forgot all about it, because it was a lot of kids talking about wheels and stereos, and not much else.
I'm guessing that I have a sub-1000 UID in AW somewhere. DIGAF? No.
N00bs in the UrS forum get the same initiation. Either you get over it, or you hold a grudge. Your choice - doesn't change a thing. Think about it.

Meh.
OK, you're right - the cranky folks do have some say 'round these parts.
The search function within AW is not perfect. It does generate a lot of false positives if your search criteria are not correct.
And can give a big, fat goose-egg if you don't put in enough info.
But I will *always* give the benefit of the doubt to someone who looks like they tried. Always.
I would encourage everyone who desires a STFA first to do the same.

Very good Hassan, very good. VW Vortex format is much different (probably better) but we have to
live with it. Hence the "need" to edit the subject lines, otherwise the whole thread would look like it was the same.
At least this forum has a better format than Audifans. Nobody changes the subject line even when off topic. Can't post embedded photos and you can't edit to correct spelling or grammar.
