Default You should have both, pressure sensor and duty cycle.

Duty cycle is just better. There is a direct correlation between how much H2O to inject and fuel delivery. Goal is to only inject ENOUGH water to prevent detonation. It is difficult to accomplish that by using different water injector nozzles ONLY. Only maximized at some fixed RPM or boost level.

After reading what Anti-Joey said, I would go lurk on the DSM water-injection on Yahoo Groups. These guys run Shur-Flow pumps, duty cycle, hobbs-type pressure switchs, etc. ~$400 for DIY, and it is better than the Ebay stuff. 11 second cars are quite normal there. I never knew there were reliability issues with Aquamists products.

Figure 10%-15% H2O (based on duty cycle), injecting around 12-15 psi. Anything lower psi wise will hurt spool-up due to cool EGT's.

Yep, Shurflo pump, any pressure switch worth a damn and whatever nozzle works.

Default Gary, are you saying that Aquamist is unreliable?

I'm considering the 2D system...

Default Believe it or not, it's cheaper in the long run to mix your own M1 racing methanol with distilledH2O

Works really well, too.
