Default How to remove Paint marker

To make a long story short my car got tagged on the rear window with a yellow paint marker (I think it is paint marker anyway)

What works to remove it without damaging the glass?

Laquer thinner or reducer - just don't get any on the paint!

Default as long as it is on the glass, you can use a metal razor blade

we use them all the time at work on glass, won't hurt it at all.

Default THE OFFICIAL ANSWER:

I work for the company that makes 95% of the paint pens out there (Sanford). Those paint pens use a solvent-based paint, similar to an oil-based paint you'd put on a doorjamb, only thinner in consistency. Your best bet is to use an ice scraper to get off all that you can, then use a product such a goo-gone to get off the rest. As a last resort, use laquer thinner. Make sure it doesn't run down the glass and get into the seals, as it can eat them.

If you have any questions give me an email:
james.bowes@sanfordcorp.com

good luck
