Rear seat backrest on S6

Rear seat backrest on S6
Manual shows 2 screws at the bottom of the rear seat backrest. I have removed both headrests & I am still unable to remove it. I don't see any other fastners. Anybody know the secret for removal?

Have you removed guide tubes the headrests run in?
If not they're your problem. They lock into the vertical sheet metal panel behind the seat- you need to climb into the trunk to release them. Once all four are out the seat should lift straight up.
